Allentown Pennsylvania Doctors

Allentown, Pennsylvania's third largest city, is located in the Lehigh River Valley, south of Philadelphia and north of Pittsburgh. The indoor PPL Center hosts a variety of events, including concerts by traveling music acts and the America on Wheels Transportation Museum. Located on the riverbank south of Bucky Boyle Park. Dr. Gordon's Allentown Wellness Center is looking forward to serving patients at its new location in the Lehigh River Valley. To the north is the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, the largest medical center in Pennsylvania and one of the largest in the country.

While the LVPG health professionals continue to provide excellent care, an increased focus is placed on quality metrics, as they relate to population and community health. Dr. Gordon and his compassionate staff are pleased to help potential patients in Wydnor. He is passionate about treating his patients and getting in touch with them as soon as possible, regardless of their health condition.

For almost half a century, the LVHN has been training more than 200 residents and scholarship holders every year and offers independent residency programs. More than 170 of its doctors are involved in the faculty, and 48 medical specialties are represented.

The network has also been recognized by AARP as one of America's safest hospitals and has been named "Best Hospitals for the Well Known" by the American Medical Association. It is also a member of the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Christopher Lopresto is from western Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2004. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and earned his VMD degree in 2008. He received his specialist training from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical School. He received additional training in infectious diseases from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and received specialized training from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The Allentown Wellness Center opened its first clinic in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and soon after opened a second location in Dunmore. LVPG was founded in 1993 by Dr. John G. Schulman, MD, MPH, Professor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical School.

LVPG is a physician-led organization with a dynamic leadership model that connects medical leaders with administrative leaders. The providers meet weekly to offer a variety of services such as physiotherapy, acupuncture, massage, chiropractic and massage therapy. We heal people and communities by providing education and clinical research that supports the development of healthy lifestyles, health and well-being, and health services.

LVPG physicians make up the majority of the SELECT faculty, and are pioneers in pioneering efforts to shape a rosy future for the health care system. Students spend their first two years at the USF Learning Center at the LVPG Medical School and then move to LVHN to learn in a technologically advanced health care network recognized nationwide for quality, safety and community care, according to a press release.

Dr. Palmeiro has published numerous research articles and given many lectures to veterinarians and veterinary students in the field of veterinary dermatology. His interests include immune mediated skin diseases and the development of new treatment methods for the treatment of dermatitis.

Dr. Palmeiro is a professor of veterinary medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in Allentown, Pennsylvania, specializing in veterinary and fish medicine. In addition to his work in veterinary dermatology, he is also an assistant professor in the Department of Animal Health at Penn State University.

Dr. Tomkin was elected to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Board of Trustees for the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medicine Association. He is also a member of the Board of Veterinary Health Services of Pennsylvania and a board member of Penn State's Animal Health Research and Education Program.

He began working in the Philadelphia area after a rotating internship in general practice and then in York. After starting Lehigh Valley Veterinary Dermatology in 2010, Dr. Palmeiro saw cases at Hope Veterinary Specialists and practiced for two years at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center in Allentown before opening his own practice at Le High School in 2012.

Dr. Palmeiro taught veterinary students at the University of Pennsylvania, mentored dermatologist residency programs, and completed a rotating internship in general practice and then in York. Dr. Pestcoe is an associate professor of veterinary medicine at Lehigh Valley Veterinary Medical Center in Allentown and a member of the Department of Veterinary Medicine.
